Additionally, a Gallup report (2017) highlighted the value of employee engagement and personal connections with managers or mentors in the workplace. The Association for Talent Development (ATD, 2016) also found that organizations with structured mentorship programs experienced higher employee engagement, increased productivity, and improved retention rates.

While not all societal systems may fall short in providing mentorship, there is a clear need to create more opportunities for mentorship within various contexts. By promoting mentorship programs and fostering personal connections, we can better support individuals in their personal and professional growth, ultimately benefiting society as a whole.
